ROLE: Social Media Producer, and Digital Content Coordinator
I was hired initially as a Social Media Producer in March of 2015 to produce social media content to be published on the show’s platforms, but then in early 2016 I proposed a plan to create separate social media accounts for each candidate to drive more viewer interaction. This proposal got me promoted to Digital Content Coordinator where I became responsible for:
- Creating online segments and stories on all Stars of Science candidates and their mentors for YouTube and all social media platforms.
- Managing updates and content copywriting for the Stars of Science website and all social media platforms, in addition to managing the social media platforms for all 12 candidates for the 2 following seasons of the show.
